We've been keeping pretty busy, and still have lots on our to-do list. Brenna LOVES being outside here too. If someone ever goes outside and doesn't bring here she gets really sad. It's nice to see her playing in the grass. Also it turns out she's a stair master, and if we turn our heads for one second she will be halfway up the big staircase. We have the downstairs blocked off, but haven't found a really good solution for the upstairs. It sure keeps me on my toes! There is also a tricky step into the family room (it's a sunken room or whatever they're called, so there's a step down to get into it) and she's really scared of it! She fell down a couple of times, and now she walks to the edge and then stomps her feet and whimpers a little until someone lends a hand to help her down. It's really cute actually, and today Grandma spent some time teaching her to sit down to get off. Now she can do it, but she still wants help. She's getting so independent it's crazy! She's a full fledged mommy's girl now, but is also really friendly to other people, especially children. She'll approach any child, from 0-10 with no fear at all and try to play with them. It always surprises me!
We are having a good time so far, missing our Jeremy quite a bit, but looking forward to the reunion in 8 sleeps!! Brenna LOVES seeing her daddy on the web cam and gets really excited when he talks to her. I am so often reminded of how lucky we are to have the technology where it's so easy to keep in touch with loved ones! We couldn't do this separation thing without it!
