It's been awhile since I've written! I have been slacking on the camera, and busy I guess! Life is good though, how could it not be with these 3 monsters!
I sure do love them. I have been waiting for the "having 3 kids is the hardest" thing to set in still, but I don't think it's coming I've decided! We lucked out, and the transition was smooth, and things have been good. And trust me, it's not because I'm a super mom or anything! I think it has a lot to do with this little angel!
He sleeps SO well, so incredible after this crazy non-sleeper (see picture below)! I have not had almost any sleep deprivation since Owen was like a month! He now sleeps almost 12 hours every night with only one feeding during the night. I love him SO SO much! haha
Brenna got an educational video game thingy for her birthday, but this little guy thinks it's his. And I thought it was so cute how he was crossing his legs!
Owen is happy boy! He is drooling big time in these pictures, but he loves going on my legs like this!
He spends a lot of time in his swing, usually only when he's sleeping, but sometimes when he's awake and happy too!
I have been having smoothies most mornings for breakfast (as another stab at the "lose the pregnancy weight" thing) and Mason is my smoothie buddy. Brenna won't touch them because she is the pickiest eater I've ever met, and Mason drinks at least half of mine, so I started making extra for him too even though he also eats a hearty breakfast first
!
Lastly, Here is a picture of all 3 of my kids around the same age. I keep having people say Owen looks more like my side of the family and more like Brenna than Mason and Mason looks just like Jeremy. Personally, I cannot tell AT ALL, but I do think that they all look pretty similar. The second picture of Brenna (she's on the left) isn't great, I know, but it's one where I thought she looked especially like Owen (and one of the few I could find without a flower or pony tail in her hair!). I tried to get one of Mason and Owen wearing the same clothes, but as it turns out, Owen outgrew all of the clothes Mason is wearing at the same age long ago (he's now in his 6-9 month clothes, and they are non-to-big (yes, he's only 3.5 months!)) So this will have to do!
We are staying very busy so far this summer with Swimming every Monday and Wednesday morning at an awesome friend's parent's house, Harkins summer movies Tuesday mornings, and splash pad play date Thursday mornings. I find that everyone is a lot happier when we keep busy and have things to do in the day. It is HOT Here now, like the unbearable heat that makes you want to melt, so we are doing all we can to keep cool! Jeremy's sister and her family are going to be in town for the next week, and we are really looking forward to spending time with them and having the kids play, and I promise to take a lot more pictures and have a fun post after this week is through!
