Scream and Shout

So many cute things to share, but I'll keep most of the videos to myself since I realize that probably not many people will enjoy them quite as much as I do!  But here are a few pictures and one video!

Owen loves being outside, and this day they were having so much fun playing together it was heart melting!  They will be best buds!

My happy boy!  I took this picture to prove that I was getting my happy boy back after ear infections, but nights are still rough!  But he is happy here!

Blurry, but can't stand the cuteness!

This makes me laugh because he was SOOO happy to have a binky in each hand and one in his mouth!  No better thing in the world!

I told Mason to give me his cutest face... haha well done.

And the grand finale.  My kids LOVE this song!  We unfortunately cannot find a "clean" one to download!  So frustrating!  I just want the radio version and I cannot find it, except on the radio, so we just wait for it to come on, which usually only takes a few songs.  They go nuts in the car, they know almost every single word, but here's the chorus.  They wouldn't stand still, I wanted to video them in the car singing it, but this is what I got!  Mason knows it the best, and I love it!

Someone's 1!

I know, I know... didn't I just have him like yesterday?  In some ways it seems so, but we were so happy to celebrate with this little man!  He had no idea what a big deal he was.  Actually, I have really been a slacker on birthdays and things lately and we didn't do a whole lot!  We did go to the park with some friends, and then we had Aunt Aly over with Isla for pizza and cake, and Grandpa Cook and Grandma Shannon showed up for dessert too!  He was not sure what the commotion was about, but since he got pizza and cake and some cool boxes and wrapping paper, he was pretty content!  Here's our man!

What a cute cheesy grin she has!  And she readily supplies it when asked too!

Here's our birthday boy with pizza all over his face!

Presents.. it was mostly the other kids that opened the presents, go figure!

Me and my monster!  Apparently I was much more excited than he was!

The last minute cake!

And then the next day we met at a park with some more cousins and Grandma Cook!  (It was Jared and Syl's 10 year anniversary!  Pretty cool!  And since last year they were babysitting all of my kids for their anniversary while I had a baby, we decided to have a picnic the next day!  haha)  And Grandma Cook got him this cool toy that we build.  The kids have really been enjoying it!  And Owen even gets a turn too!

This is photographic evidence of his walking.  I took a video or two, but haven't put them on the computer!  He's a full time walker though!

So that's about it!  Owen is usually so happy and likes to do his own thing.  He has some struggles at night still, but in his defense, he had an ear infection a couple of weeks ago, and we went to the doc today and he said the same ear is still infected!  So we're on new meds and hopefully he can feel better soon!
Oh!  And he's big.  The nurse guy measured him, then was like "lets try that again I think I made a mistake" but it was the same again.  haha.  He's 31.5 inches long.  It's actually only the 92nd percentile.  Since the nurse seemed so surprised I thought he'd be higher... he's always been above 95th before!  We're still planning his pro basketball future for him! (by the way, I'm curious how other doctors measure baby's length?  Mine lays him down on the bed thing and draws a line at his head and another at his feet then measures that.  Is that how they all do it?)
In other news, Apparently my kids got cold sores!  I didn't know that's what it was, but it's been confirmed.  Mason got it first and his lips were (are) so bloody and sensitive, he would bleed and cry anytime something bumped him.  It was pretty bad.  Then the other day Brenna woke up with it too.  I guess the first time is the worst and they get them all over (the doc even said Brenna has some inside her mouth) but then they might not get them again for years and years and when they do it won't be nearly so bad.  So that's good!  We're all healing and hope to be back to normal soon!  This was Mason's sore lips smile, which I can't stop laughing about!
