We aren't big Valentines Day celebrators, but that's largely as a result of what happened the day after Valentines Day! 4 years ago today was one of the most special days of my life and of Jeremy's an my relationship. This is what happened 4 years ago today. So we save most of our lovey dovey celebrations for today... well, we don't really do lovey dovey celebrations at all, but that's beside the point. Anyway, so happy engagement anniversary to Jeremy... I'm very glad that you went the extra mile 4 years ago and impressed me with your romantic side (where'd that go by the way?? ;) ). I look forward to a tasty dessert with you tonight! Love ya!

Valentine Brenna
This Valentines Day we didn't have any plans, but I thought it'd be fun to help Brenna do a craft. It's something I should do more often with her. She had a great time, and loved the glueing especially. I keep forgetting she's old enough to do some things like this! I helped her make a valentine for daddy, and we really enjoyed ourselves.
And these are just some pictures of Brenna on Valentines day. She wore a dress with hearts on it to church, and I thought her pig tails were so cute because of how curly they got at the bottoms. You can't really see it from the pictures, but trust me.
Encanto Park
This weekend we went to Encanto Park here in Phoenix. It is a nice park down on 19th Ave and Encanto Blvd. It has lots of ducks, geese, and birds to feed, fishing, playgrounds, lots of open grass area, paths, boats, and also a little theme park for kids. It has probably 10 or 12 rides and they are all for kids probably under 10 years old. First we took Brenna to feed the birds. She really enjoyed throwing them bread and even touched a big goose. I personally get a little scared of the big white geese with horny beaks, but I tried to be brave so that Brenna didn't inherit my fears. I was still keeping a close eye though as they are as big as she is!
After we fed the ducks we met some family (Jeremy's mom and his brother's family including 2 of Brenna's cousins). Brenna was able to go on 3 rides, and she sure had a blast. The carousel was a favorite as Brenna loves horseys. She was also able to do a car ride, and even some miniature bumper boats. She had a blast with her cousins, and it was fun to watch her!

Brenna Can Talk!
This is not the best video, but I got Brenna saying a few things and also showing how well she knows most of her body parts. She can do a lot better too, but she was being a goof ball! Also a stretch of her just gabbing... I get to listen to her random chatter all the time, and I love it!
Oh, and my new favorite thing that she says all the time is "work". She will say "where's daddy? Work?" and I can't get over it! Love it!

Petting Zoo Party
Brenna was invited to Kaige Hedgecock's 1st birthday party, and it was this past weekend. They had a petting zoo in their backyard for the party!! It was really exciting for all the kids, and the little animals were so cute! Brenna loved it once the bigger animals sat down to take naps. There was a baby cow and a big sheep that scared her, but the little goats, ducks, bunnies and chicks were just up her ally. She is a little young to hold the animals with much gentleness, but she liked chasing them around a lot! Anyway, she had a lot of fun, and I think this is such a cute idea for a kids birthday party! It helped that their backyard is still dirt, so it was easy for the zoo to set up and clean up. Brenna loves her "Uncle Tim" who is holding her in a few of these pictures. It's actually Jeremy's cousin Jessica's husband, so not really an uncle, but oh well. She was basically attached to him since he arrived till when we left. It's cute to see her have fun with other adults. Jeremy wasn't able to come since he was working, so Tim took on his role I guess. haha it was cute, and I appreciate Tim being so good with her!

36 Weeks
Alright, I am now (well as of tomorrow actually) 36 weeks pregnant. I have not done regular pregnancy posts or photos, but I thought that since it's happening soon now I'd post a picture or two. I had a Doctors appointment this morning and it's the first one where they checked if I was dilated at all, and also I had an ultrasound to check his position. He's a good little boy and is head down and in the ready position! So any time now... we're waiting! They also said he is approx. 6lbs, 9oz, which still qualifies as average, but is definitely on the large side of average. Ultrasound weights I guess can vary by up to a pound though, so maybe he's smaller! haha or bigger.... no, positive thinking! Also, I am dilated, but only just slightly, not even a whole centimeter yet. Everything is looking good though and we're on track for a routine delivery. I didn't have any pain meds with Brenna, and I'm really hoping that my strep B test comes back negative this time so that once I go into labor we can speed

things up and I won't be tempted to take meds this time. I don't have a problem with taking them really, I just don't like the idea of an epidural and will hopefully not even have time to make that decision this time around. We will have to wait and see though! Anyway, just a quick update, things are looking good, and we're nearly ready for baby #2. Still no name though, so we'll be surprising everybody there I guess!
