Spring

I feel a nagging need to keep this up to date more often!  And I'm glad!  Not that it's helping a lot, but at least I'm not giving up!  So life lately has been busy, just with normal stuff I guess, but we've been busy!  My baby is growing faster than I can wrap my mind around, and all of the kids are learning quickly and keeping very busy!  Jeremy has been busy at work, but the kids will take any chance they can to wrestle with daddy!  Sadie thankfully stays out of it with me!

Owen has a monster face he puts on and everyone immediately knows he's become the monster and they'd better run.  I wanted it on camera, but he wouldn't cooperate, so Brenna showed us her best impression.. Pretty scary!

The  next day I got Owen to almost do his monster face for me!

They boys hair had gotten so long, and they HATE me doing it, so I told them either they let me spray it or gel it every day, or they cut it, and they opted for the cut.  I was glad for their choice, but now these pictures are reminding me they were so cute with long hair too!

Sadie is getting so mobile, still not quite crawling, but she can get around a room with a combo of rolling and scooting backwards!

My two school kiddos looking cute!  Both of them are excelling at school and enjoy going!

I finally got the monster face!!
So Brenna got a really neat surprise a few weeks back.  She got chosen to be the student of the month for her class!  So we got to go to this neat ceremony where they said how great she is and gave her a t-shirt and a certificate!  (it was actually quite a lot of kids, one from each class, and they said only a sentence or two about each kid, but I was a proud momma!)  Brenna demonstrates caring and fairness at school!

Jeremy and I were invited to an 80's themed birthday party, and it was actually so fun!  It was fun to dress up and we had a good time with some friends!  We don't get out much for things like that so we really enjoyed it!

Easter was so exciting this year!  The kids are understanding things more and more.  Mason's preschool class had an egg hunt and Owen got to participate, so they loved that!

We decorated some eggs, which Brenna especially loved, but all of them really enjoyed that!

And Easter morning the Easter Bunny came, and the kids were very excited!  Brenna had left some notes for the bunny to sign and was thrilled that she had "proof" that the Easter Bunny was real.

Babies first Easter!
Also I got no pictures of it, but there are some on Jeremy's phone, but we hosted the Cook family Easter dinner/egg hunt again!  It's so fun to see the cousins play together, and even though there's more of them now, it seems easier to host now that some of them are older!  The kids and adults all had a nice time!
We talked a lot with our kids about the real reason we have Easter too, and I think that the older two are learning and remembering more and more.
We also enjoyed a very nice Conference Sunday where I probably got to listen to more than I have for a few years with well planned naps and some good quiet activities in place.  I really enjoyed conference!  I felt like many of the talks spoke directly to me.  I love feeling a deep desire to rise up and be better!

This little munchkin just melts me.  I can't get enough of her, and neither can her brothers and sister.  They beg for the chance to hold her and always want to make her smile.

Even daddy can't resist her big open mouthed smiles.. she loves her daddy a lot!

In the dress my mom made for Brenna!  It squoze her chunky thighs nice and tight!

I have been busy spring cleaning, de-junking, and just keeping up with life!  I like being busy and feeling productive every day!  My parents got here today and we are so excited to spend the weekend with them!  The kids have been counting down (and maybe me too!)  I'll try and take some pictures!
