Poll Results

The results are in! We are having a little boy! We saw some pretty clear "man parts" at the ultrasound today, and are tickled "blue" with the news! Thanks for voting everyone! Whoever voted boy gets to pick a name for the little guy. We will take all suggestions under consideration!

Wanted: Room for Rent

I am currently looking for someone who has a spare bedroom and wouldn't mind some house guests. Just me and an adorable little girl. We wouldn't be any trouble at all. We are moderately good at cooking and cleaning as well, and will participate in these activities as our payment. Our only requirement is that you purchased and have kept up to date on all your pest control treatments. Brenna and I are too scared to live in our house anymore until we can get up to date on all of our pest control needs. As Jeremy doesn't see this as a very big issue, he will be staying behind to fend for his life in our scorpion infested home! This is what we found crawling across the floor at the end of his workout this evening. I think it's the biggest one we've seen yet, but it is nasty. I can barely look at these pictures without wanting to vomit.

Vote Now!

We are finding out what we are having (we're hoping for human) in two weeks, on the 29th, and I want to know what you all think! Vote now! (It's over on the side)

Our Goings On!

I haven't written a lot lately, and I just realized that I have taken a few pictures! So here is a bit about what we've been up to lately! We have been hanging out with some of Brenna's cousins. They like to go to Westgate and play in the water, and we also took a trip to the Heard Museum in Surprise.

Brenna loves the water fountains!
Brenna got her first helium filled balloons and they entertained her for hours and days. I think they're still floating around here somewhere waiting to be popped!

She finally left her sunglasses on for long enough for me to snap some pictures!
Cool dude!
You can't really tell here, but we tried another pony tail and it worked ok, but I definitely like it better when her curls aren't pulled back... much cuter!

With Daddy's help, Brenna was able to climb a ladder! She thought this was very cool, but we put it away right after this to avoid any accidents!

Brenna's getting very mischievous and we have to keep a special eye on her these days... especially around the garbage and recycling! She also recently started putting on my flip flops. It is pretty funny to watch her try and walk in them!

I have been trying lately to get a good photo of Brenna smiling. She always does a really goofy smile lately, and although it does crack me up, I am trying to get a sweet smile picture! Here are some examples of the goofy smile:

Ok, I just like her eyes in this one.
This is her "I'm not going to pose" face.
...and there it is!
Always with the eyes closed!

And then finally this last Sunday afternoon, I was able to catch her sweetest smile on film! I'm fairly proud of myself! Either way, goofy smile or not, she sure is a cutie! (If I do say so myself!)
I must have said something funny.. hehe

In our lives Jeremy's keeping busy with work, and he's also completed one full week of his P90X workout program. It's a pretty intense program, and I'm proud of him for jumping in full heartedly. He's eating right and working out at least 1 hour every day, determined to get some muscle definition before our Christmas trip to Mexico! Which is great, because I'll be nice and big and pregnant by then, so we'll be a perfect match.
Brenna and I keep busy at home playing, learning, and growing a baby. Brenna is talking a little bit now and says things like no, thank you, peekabo, daddy, yah, 1,2,3!, and she signs please, but won't say it out loud. It's lots of fun to be here to watch her grow and develop, and I'm so glad I get to be here with her! My one complaint right now is that she is a very picky eater. The only veggie she'll eat is corn, ON THE COB only. So we're working on sneaking some veggies in to other foods!
I have been feeling a lot better, and have mostly stopped being sick. I am starting to show (which is scary because it's happening SO much faster than last time) and to feel pregnant. We get to find out what we are having in two weeks, and I can barely think of anything else! We're all very excited to learn more about our little guy/gal!
