Some pictures lately.  There aren't many because I've been a slacker with the camera.  I did Brenna's hair the other day into fancy pig tails, so she got a photo shoot.  The piggy tails didn't turn out exactly how I thought, but she looked cute!

I don't even remember why I took these... probably because of his hair, but they make me smile!

When I put Mason's sweater on to go to the park, he wants it on all day with the hood.  I mentioned this before, but it makes me laugh!  They are trying to watch a movie while sitting so close they're touching.  It actually wasn't a total failure!

These days Mason can be found like this a lot of the time.  I don't think it's that he's really cold, but he's taken a liking to blankets lately.  He wants always at least two blankets to carry around, and his bear Bunky.  I think it's funny since he's never cared about blankets before, and I like looking at my bundled boy.  We will have to bring quite a blanket supply to Canada where he'll actually need them!

Tuckered Out!

Yesterday, we had a big day!  I have decided that I want to start walking and getting a bit of exercise during pregnancy this time, since after nursery every week I'm starting to be a bit sore and achy!  Maybe this will help me be more in shape for my pregnancy!  Anyway, so yesterday we walked to the park.  It takes us about 30 minutes to walk to the park.  We have play date twice a week, and I may start walking all of the time, but we'll see.  Brenna rode her bike, and I was a little nervous since we're by the road on the sidewalk the whole time, but she did awesome and was such a trooper!  That's a big bike ride for a 3 year old, especially when her bike is still one of those plastic trike things.  So, we walked to the park, played for a couple of hours, then walked home, and hour walking in total, not counting all the bike riding Brenna did while playing at the park!  When we got home I thought for sure she would take a nap, but of coarse she didn't go for it.  I put on a movie finally and thought she'd zonk out during the movie, but she stayed up and then Mason woke up and we went on with our day!
We had a fun afternoon and had a picnic in the living room with snacks, then to waste some time, and since they were dirty, I gave the kids a long bath with lots of playing time.  After the bath we needed to eat dinner, but nobody was very hungry because of our snack picnic, so we had some cereal.  I got everybody their cereal, then sat down to write a quick note... about a minute or less later I thought I heard snoring.  This is what I found when I looked over at the table!

So I carried my little tired girl to bed at 6:00.  Mason and mommy had a good hour of one on one play time before he went to bed too.  Fine by me!  Good night in my books!  haha BUT...
Brenna came out at about 7:30 and was sad that we didn't read scriptures, do prayers or sing songs, so I had to actually put her to bed again later... about 3 times.  haha silly girl.  Doesn't she know that mommy knows best when nap time is attempted!?

Mason's Buzz

This is Mason, you may recognize him from many previous posts.  Cute little blondie with a great head of hair.  Jeremy I think is especially proud of his great head of hair.  Or should I say, he was.  There was a slight misunderstanding between the Mr. and I today, and Mason is the bearer of the results.

The other day, I put this sweater on him to go to the park and he would not take it off, nor would he let me take his hood down ALL day.  He napped with the hood up, and only took it off that evening when he threw up all over it, and Jeremy... that's another story!  The point though, is look at those bangs coming out!

So, we are getting family photos taken on Saturday at Portrait Innovations for our Christmas card.  I have been asking Jeremy if he thinks Mason could use a haircut before pictures, and he finally agreed that it would be a good idea.  He left for work and this was our EXACT conversation:
Me: "So what numbers should I use to cut Mason's hair?
Jeremy: "Last time I just used a #1 for his whole head."
Me: "Really?  A #1 for the whole head?"
Jeremy: "yup!"
So I went on my day thinking that was odd, but not really worrying about it.  I was ok with shorter than Jeremy was anyway.  So after dinner, I went in to cut the hair.  I found the number one and was double-guessing Jeremy's judgement and decided to start with a number 2 just to be safe.  I took one buzz right down the middle and knew I had somehow misunderstood.

I think he still looks as handsome as ever, but it is a funny mistake!  A tiny bit less funny since we're getting our family pictures done, and I knew Jeremy wouldn't be too pleased...
After I finished the haircut I called Jeremy and this was our conversation then:
Me: "Can you tell me one more time exactly what number you told me to cut Mason's hair with?"
Jeremy: "#1.
Me: "Yah..."
Jeremy: "The 1 inch, the biggest one... right?"
Ahhhh things make more sense.  The 1 inch is the biggest one, but it's also number 8 or something.  Number one is the smallest.  SO, there's my funny story for the day.  I'm not upset about his cut, and we're both laughing about it now.  Jeremy says he looks like an army Brat, and I tend to agree, but in a good way!  haha

And to top it off, here's a cute video of Mason's new favorite thing to do.  Sing Twinkle Twinkle.  You have to listen careful to catch him doing it because Brenna also loves this song and can't resist a chance to sing!  I love my two energetic future singing stars!  haha (Brenna doesn't look at me because she can't take her eyes off of herself in the mirror to the right, and I think it's funny that Mason is brushing his "hair" while Brenna's singing.  haha)

Pregnant Pic: Limited Edition!

Alright, due to the request of a sibling or two and also a small amount of venting, I decided to try and take a picture of my baby bump.  I think these pictures actually make me look a little smaller than I really do.. or at least smaller than I feel!  But there it is!  (there are so many because I thought it was funny how Mason wanted in all the pictures that I took using the computer.  Silly boy!)

Now for the venting... feel free to stop reading if you've heard enough whining today already!
So I'm like 23.5 weeks... so yah, I'm a little big.  I feel REALLY big, but the thing is, it must be true due to the amount of comments I get almost on a daily basis (every day that we leave the house and some that we don't!) a comment or two on how incredible it is how big I am!  Jeremy has mentioned that I still have 17 weeks left or whatever it may be and (although I don't believe he meant any harm) he is not the only one!  So, I know that I am pregnant, but it's still never really nice to hear about how huge you are getting!  Especially when you know there's so much more to go!  As a side note, I do know that nobody's actually implying that I'm fat or a grossly huge pregnant person... deep down I know that.  haha

Ok, onto happier things, I am feeling this baby move a lot now, and it's so fun.. definitely the best part of pregnancy.  Brenna and Mason are convinced that the baby's name is Hogart, so we may have to stick with that!  We still are coming up blank with good name ideas.  I am trying to find a cute pregnancy top/sweater for family pictures on Saturday and it's stressing me out, and also I'm trying not to turn into a huge whale pregnant lady so that I look semi-cute in my sisters wedding pictures in two months!

Also, I had a mini breakdown a few moments ago after a very hard day with Mason's sleep, both naps and bedtime are trials now, not that he's not tired, just that he won't go to sleep... I hope we pass this soon because it's making me so emotionally drained by the end of the day!

I promise the next post will be all positive thoughts!

Baby Boy #2's Photo Debut: Baring It All

Well, it took me about 3 weeks to actually get these up, but here are pictures of our 2nd son!  We still have no leads in the names department, but we are thinking about it more!

For a long time this baby didn't seem really real to us.  We weren't expecting/planning on being pregnant, and I wasn't nearly as sick as I was with the first two, and I didn't feel any baby movements for a very long time.  Now I am finally feeling pretty regular movements from inside, and am getting nice and fat (ok, pregnant, but sometimes it's hard to feel a difference!) and this baby is becoming real and already a fun part of our family.  We are excited to figure out a name and start planning for the second boy to enter our family!  I can't wait to watch him and Mason play together!  Oh, and to hold a tiny newborn again!

As a small side note, with Masons recent sleep problems, I am also feeling a small sense of dread at getting those resolved as quickly as possible so that I can get some good nights of sleep in before this baby comes!  We also are trying to get Brenna to stay in her room as she has a habit of wandering into our room and sleeping on the floor by our bed at some point during every night... wish me luck figuring that stuff out!

Three for Thursday

Three for Thursday.. it's been a little while, but I have no new photos to put up since my camera isn't cooperating and so this seemed like a good idea!  Thanks Evelyn!

Three things I stole from my kids’ Halloween candy stash:
ok, 3 things?  Try three things I haven't stolen!  Just had to get that out of the way.

- all of the skittles
- banana flavored laffy taffy
- Baby Ruth chocolate bars.. who knew how good they are!

Three things I buy that have to be name brand:
ok... again... not a lot of things, so this list is a stretch!

- ... skittles/mike n' Ikes
- Tylenol
- I am seriously scanning my home for more options, and everything I see is store brand.. haha I'm not really a brand name person!  I'm a cheep stuff person!  haha

Three things I spend more than fifteen minutes doing every day:
- Making food

- playing with my kids
- watching TV

Three things that put me in a fantastic mood:
- Cuddles

- Good talks with good friends!
- When my husband really laughs at one of my jokes.. or sends a big ol' grin my way!

Three things I do that a grown woman has no right to be doing anymore:
-Read until the wee hours of the morning when a good book like a Harry Potter or Twilight comes out!
-Pick toppings off my pizza or certain things out of my food.

-Wear pony tails 6 days a week!

Three pictures:

Since my camera is being absolutely frustrating and stupid, I have to do some old pictures... I was just scanning through and thought we could discuss my deep seeded love for the color yellow!  Here are three pictures from the past for examples!
Pic. 1 - I showed up to a cousins wedding looking like this... my mom almost died!  haha Needless to say I had to hang my jackets AND mittens, and go barefoot because I guess that was better than these shoes with this dress... haha good times!

Pic 2 - my favorite shirt for as long as I could possibly wear it!  With a matching belt, which I also wore until it was hanging by threads!  I miss that outfit!  (This is at a voice recital... scary business!)

Pic 3 - This was one of our engagement pictures... I couldn't think of a better thing to wear than my current favorite yellow shirt!

Halloween - PICTURES!

Bare with me now, because I know there are a lot of pictures here, but it's for family who couldn't see these adorable kids in their costumes!!!!  These first few are from the ward trunk or treat the first time we dressed up.

We couldn't get Mason to do the superman thing, but Brenna was more than willing!  haha
I'm in labour incase you couldn't tell!
And my handsome doctor!  How bad would it be if you really thought your doctor was handsome?  Awkward!
 After the candy haul
Ok, now these next few aren't Halloween at all, but just cute.  My parents were visiting this last weekend, but they were out at their new house in Gilbert with some family, and it was a very quick trip, so we went out there to stay for the weekend instead!  The kids had a blast, but on Sunday when swimming wasn't allowed we were sort of scrounging for things to do.  Luckily I brought some books and for about 5 minutes, they sat together on the floor reading.. so cute!

And I was hearing uncontrollable giggling yesterday while I was trying to practice the piano, and I came in to find this!  Both kids laughing so hard!  Cute!  The wrestling has begun!

Ok, back to Halloween!  This is actual Halloween.  Brenna and Mason dressed up the same, except Brenna wanted to be a Cinderella with a wand and a bracelet instead of a headband and a choker.  Well I couldn't find the choker actually.  Anyway, cute cinderella all ready to go to a Halloween party and trick or treating!

Mason got a hold of these gloves at the party that belong to his uncle and he was a happy happy boy beating up daddy with his big fists!  It was really fun to watch too!

 cousins in the bounce house!

And I took some from trick or treating, but my camera is being so silly and finicky and won't upload all of my photos, so this is where it ends.  The kids had fun though and we enjoyed a nice night of sleep after an exciting and sugar filled day!  Happy Halloween!  Now on to the holidays!!!!
